Somali Militia men battle Islamic extremists

So as much as Somalia is the last place on Earth I'd like to be in right now, it is showing outstanding values through people such as the Somali Dutch MP mentioned in earlier posts and through the quasi-interim government/militia whatever you wanna call it.

So Islamic courts set up the only juidical system in Somalia at the moment, and have begun assasinating moderate Muslims and imposing a reign of terror. These organisations apparently have links with Al-Qaeda.

With this as a more than justified/reasonable excuse the militia have battled them

So yeah. Not much more to say other than raising the evening glass to free Somalia and to the hopes that the convening parliament (meeting for the first time on home soil on the 26th of this month) manage to get everythin under control. *clink*
